3. About the company
3.1 eZverifi is an online validation platform that allows members to join together and provide a digital profile that minimize the abuse and exploitation of online and face-to-face transactions by unscrupulous parties, whose intent is to scam and corrupt unwitting on and offline consumers and small businesses. eZverifi is not a seller, buyer and/or traditional online marketplace. The Website and App is owned and managed by eZverifi LLC.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is professionally managed in compliance with Google, Apple and all other applicable data protection laws. Part of this commitment is to ensure that there is transparency about how we process your personal data.

4.1.1 Personal Data While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: Email address, First name and last name, Phone number, Address, State, ZIP/Postal code etc.

C) Connect your social media account to your Service profile on eZverifi.

5.1 To use some features of eZverifi and the Services, including without limitation, purchases from eZverifi, you need to first register and create a user name and password. During registration you are also required to give truthful contact and demographic information (including name and email address) in accordance with our Terms of use. This information will be used to contact you about our Services in which you have expressed interest.

6.1 If you are from the European Economic Area (EEA), eZverifi LLC legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described in this Privacy Policy depends on the Personal Data we collect and the specific context in which we collect it.
6.2 eZverifi LLC may process your Personal Data because:

You can access and update your information easily on eZverifi. You can also request access, updating and corrections of inaccuracies in other personal information we have by emailing or writing to us at info@eZverifi.com. We may ask you for certain information in order to verify your identity.

11.1 If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. eZverifi LLC aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.

12. Sensitive permissions
12.1 Depending on your device and OS version, the App may request you to approve certain sensitive permissions – known as dangerous permissions. Below is a list of these sensitive permissions:
12.2.1 Location data
(i) All GPS data collected is only used internally by our App in accordance to this privacy policy. We determine where on earth you are located and do not transmit or share your location information with third parties. If in the future this changes, we will update this page and our privacy policy.
(ii) You have the option to either accept or refuse our app having access to your location data, and you can most often opt in/out of allowing our app to access your data in the settings of your device.
(iii) Denying access to your location data means that you will not be able to use some portions of the Service or some portions of the Service may not work as intended.
12.2.1 Location data
(i) The App may also require you to grant permission at runtime to read from your media/photos/Files.
(ii) We do not collect any media/photos/Files from your device unless you specifically trigger the action. Any and all data we retrieve from your device through our app are intended to perform the basic functionality of the App and to be used in aggregated form or to track specific issues and/or bugs.
(iii)Until you approve the permission, our service cannot provide the functionality that depends on that permission.
(iv) We also do not share that data with any third party except as it is required to provide you with better services. Where necessary, we will keep you informed.
13. Third party
a) eZverifi may allow third-parties, advertising companies, and ad networks, to display advertisements on its App. These companies may use tracking technologies, such as cookies to collect information about users who view or interact with their advertisements. Our Service does not provide any personal information to these third parties, but they may collect information about you when you saw and/or clicked on the advertisements they deliver, such as click stream information, browser type, time and date, subject of advertisements clicked or scrolled over, etc., and possibly associate this information with your subsequent visits to the advertised websites. They also may combine this information with personal information they collect from you to provide advertisements about goods and Service likely to be of greater interest to you.
b) The collection and use of that information is subject to the third-party’s privacy policy. This information allows them to deliver targeted advertisements and gauge their effectiveness.

16. How To Unsubscribe From Future Email Marketing Messages
To unsubscribe from all notifications, you may use the unsubscribe link in the marketing email received. Please note that even after you opt-out of marketing messages, we may still communicate with you by email for administrative and informational purposes unrelated to marketing.
17. Data Charges and Mobile Phones
You are responsible for any mobile charges that you may incur for using our Services, including calls, text-messaging and data charges. If you’re unsure what those charges may be, you should ask your service provider before using the Services. If you change or deactivate the mobile phone number that you used to create an eZverifi account, you must update your account information through Settings within 72 hours.
18. Limitation of Liability
18.1 In no event shall eZverifi LLC, or any of its employees, agents be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use our service.
18.2 eZverifi LLC and others identified above are also not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, loss of use or goodwill, even if foreseeable, whether caused by our negligence, breach of contract or otherwise arising out of or in connection with such website or product use.
19. Children’s Privacy
Although our Service is a consumer service, we restrict its use to individuals of age 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 18 years of age, and no part of the Service is directed to children under the age of 18.
